Introducing: Superhuman Happiness

There is a thing about ~supergroups~ and combining an amalgamation of talent thwarted from various sideprojects and musical musings that sways between the lines of genius and more often than not, a clusterfuck of noise. Fortunately, Superhuman Happiness manage to stay on the right side of that so frequently tainted line, producing a concoction of elements that coalesce in one shared vision. That probably has something to do with the New York groups expansive CV, boasting affiliations with Antibalas, Phenomenal Handclap Band, TV On The Radio, Iron & Wine, tUnE-yArDs AND Martha Wainwright.

Below, you can check out album cut, ‘Sentimental Pieces’, with a funky guitar lick and a drum beat to tempt your head into a boggie-induced sway. ‘Music to rejoice’, indeed.

Superhuman Happiness’ upcoming album, Hands, is out on October 7th and you can grab it  from their bandcamp here.
