Preview: Illumination 2013

This Sunday 3rd November, Illumination kicks off with Aidan Moffat, Jacco Gardner, Dent May and more at Bush Hall, London. The three week long series of music and arts events is hosted at an array of London venues and will see performances from Field Music (performing a live soundtrack to the film “Drifters”), Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Owiny Sigoma Band, John Wizards, James Holden, Mø and Money.

In addition to the surplus of music events, a host of visual artists are confirmed to be exhibiting, showcasing imaginative and inspiring artwork between and around live performances within the venues. This year, the visuals will be provided by Leeds-based VJ Michael Connolly, Analog artist Chris King and member of Liverpool arts collective Milk, NotKnot. London collective Super Modal will also provide samples of their work, an interesting patchwork of their own patterns and found footage.
