Groomed: Movember Collaborations – Gillette ProGlide Styler

The next instalment of my Movember mini series features the Gillette Fusion ProGlide Stlyer.

Designed to help you ‘trim, shave and edge your way to style’, the Gillette Fusion ProGlide Styler is a multi-purpose tool for keeping your hair, be it on your face or body, in check.

Watertight and ever so light, the ProGlide Styler offers an effortless, anywhere trim in an instant – and it has to be said it is one of the most comfortable shaves I have experienced, a not by any small whisker.  Sturdy Braun engineering powers the Styler; its thinner, finer blades provide a super-close shave and what’s better is this is from any direction, even against the grain. So you can go wild and not worry about dreaded shaving rashes.

I’m a get-up-and-go kind of a shaver – I can’t be bothered with taking forever to shave, I am also vehemently against wet shaving, not that it isn’t attractive or nice, it’s just that I look prepubescent without facial hair. So I need a good, quick and reliable shaver and that’s just what this product provides. It never snags and it gets the job done. The ProGlide is operated by a standard AA battery so there is also no fuss with wires and chargers – just buy a multipack of batteries, stick in your drawer and you’re good to go.

The ProGlide Styler comes with additional heads for trimming your hair to different length and also comes with an attachable Fusion blade head for a close wet shave and crisp, defined lines.

Maintenance couldn’t be easier, simply pop the top and rinse under the tap to clean. The Styler also comes beautifully packaged with it’s own stand. Lord knows I am a sucker for packaging.

The Gillette ProGlide Styler retails at around £15 and is available at Boots. A donation is made to Movember with every purchase.
