BEAUTIFY: Products of the Week

The weather has been all over the place this week. From warm sunshine (tricking us into thinking it’s nearly time for summer) to pouring rain- it’s a confusing time. It confuses our skin and messes up our makeup equally- and I ain’t no fan of that.

That’s why this week, our Products of the Week are ones that’ll take you through anything- wind, rain or shine. Promise.

Aesop Protective Lip balm, £13

A winter-through-to-spring necessity, when your lips are constantly dry and no amount of water seems to change that. This protective lip balm has a slight citrus aroma, and glides its SPF 30 protection on- even in the rain.

Clarins Instant Concealer, £20

We’re in the part of the year when tiredness seems never ending, rain hits you in the face most days and a face mask isn’t the top of your priority list. In comes the handy fatigue-fighting, smoothing long-wearing concealer from Clarins. Just the ticket. And it’ll pop in your bag quite easily, too, if you need an after-work top-up.

Laura Mercier Bonne Mine palette

Not only a great (great) palette, but a great cause. Laura Mercier is donating an amazing 100% of the funds from the shop for a cause range, made up of three products- a face palette, a lip glace and baked powder.

We’re a fan of all 3 (the powder is perfect for a much needed glow in this weather) but the palette truly has our hearts, with it’s handy pull out mini-tutorials on how to use each section of the palette. We’re quite the contourers now.

Available March (this Saturday!) so we highly advise you to grab this amazing palette, and do a good deed at the same time.
