News: Welcome To London: A World of Eating

Those lovely guys over at Herb Lester Associates, who are known for their fabulous city map  guides contained on a single sheet of A3 or A2, have created this rather nice looking city guide that explores the many worlds of food that London has to offer. Known for its gastronomic acceptance, London’s vast multicultural population means that on one street you’re likely to find fondue, fish and chips and frozen yogurt nestled together.

To aid with hunting out the best in world cuisine, Polly Russell, historical food advisor to Heston Blumenthal, and Jenny Linford, acclaimed food writer, have scouted some of the best places to try said food, while explaining exactly why certain areas are so closely associated with certain cuisines. The guide contains 105 entries across sections, which include Africa, the West Indies, French, Greek, Indian, Pakistani & Sri Lankan, Japanese, Middle Eastern, Southeast Asian, Spanish, Turkish and even British, all spread across an illustrated map.
