London…on a regular

London is a metamorphosing entity, continually in flux and completely mutable. Like every scene, whether it be restaurants, bars and shops, things change. Something might be there one day, and gone the next, and the London clubbing scene is no different. In the last ten years things have obviously mutated, something that allows London to not only exist as an exciting and essential clubbing destination, but also providing a the necessary variety that London is famous for. A new film by Basement, London…On a regular, examines London’s clubbing culture over the past decade. The project, directed by Rollo Jackson, features interviews from some of the biggest names in the industry, such as Erol Alkan, Benji B, Seb Chew, Joe Goddard, Lil Silva, Mark Ronson, Richard Russell and Tristian. Exploring how London has changed over the years, the film delves into iconic nights such as Trash, Talking Loud, Soul2Soul and Movement that provided the basis for existing nights such as FWD and Deviation.
