Introducing David Boomah Singer/Songwriter, Born in the UK raised in St Catherine Jamaica where he nurtured his vocal skills in church and then stepped into the Dance-Halls singing on the local soundsystem Small Axe Boomah then moved back to the UK and started recording and performing with various artists on the reggae/dancehall scene. He destroyed numerous Live Shows across the UK and Europe performing with artists like Sweetie Irie, Macka B, UK Apachi, Juxci-D in Venues like Ritzy Night Club, Moon lighting Shepherds Bush Empire, Hammersmith Le Palais and Cargo Night Club (to name a few) After peforming across the UK and performing at the British Reggae Awards in London Boomah became involved with the Drum and Bass/Jungle Scene He supported Uk Apachi on his Origianl Nuttah Tour touching down in every city in the England and most cities in Europe Boomah then went on to record the single "Who Run Tings" with Shy FX in 1995 and the track blew up the underground with DJ's like Brockie using the track as their signature tune for months. Since then Boomah has enjoyed 4 no 1's on the Drum and Bass Scene and worked with some of the best producrs in the scene Like Potential Badboy, Shy Fx, Bryan G, Code:Breaker and Crystal Clear. Boomah has a unique reggae quality in his voice but can adapt to other genres of music as you can see from the tracks on his page where he fits his vocals comfortably on Alternative, R&B, and Drum and Bass Although he has been in the business for ages he is still loving it working with some great musicians and artists across varying genres of music including...
