Of The I is an emerging band from London, trying to spread their musical message by providing demos of their music, freely, over the internet. The band’s first album is provisionally titled ‘Twelve Sequences of a Storm’. Their aim is to create a new kind of sound that invokes elements derived from spirituality, philosophy, psychology, each member’s personal experiences, as well as the music that has inspired them. Of The I’s sound can be described as progressive, melodic, experimental rock.

Our music is born from the collision of each band member's influences, bringing elements from space rock to thrash metal, from blues to jazz-funk, from ambient chillout to drum'n'bass, and anything in between which inspires us to create.
We all have different and varied tastes, but they unite in one vision when it's time to compose a song.
Since art is supposed to reflect life, we take a many-layered and multi-faceted approach to music, but ultimately we aim to make your head nod, your feet tap, your spine tingle, and the hairs on the back of your neck stand to full attention.
We've self-produced our demos in a flat in London, so the production may not always be great, but hopefully the music speaks for itself.
For those who have ears to listen, the time has come to rock!
