ABOUT ME:
Apollo are a powerful four-piece guitar band from Tamworth in the Midlands. They blend Mod and Rock sounds and draw on influences as diverse as the 60’s English Blues Explosion, American hardcore and grunge from the early 1990’s, Britpop, Indie and a range of more contemporary genres. A description of the sound is instantly difficult, although commentators have suggested that within the repertoire exists more than a hint of Zeppelin, The Who, Chilli Peppers and the Stone Roses.
From the moment they step onto the stage the boys ooze raw energy, sheer animal magnetism, passion and pure natural talent, drawing the audience spellbound into their presence and leaving fans hungry for more. They are loud, melodic, tight and thoroughly entertaining. The key to Apollo is great original material, and an unforgettable night out, nothing more, nothing less…..
