YEE-HAW! Wild in the Country returns on Saturday 5th July a bigger, badder, and far more superior festival experience. Set in the stunning grounds of Knebworth House, Hertfordshire, the one day festival has a bill as rich as a Lobster meal and bottle of Pétrus 1961 at Zafferano’s. Set across six beautifully decorated marquee’d arenas (we’re talking chandeliers and everything) 2008 will feature a Live outdoor stage for the first time ever! Icelandic goddess Bjork has been announced as the headliner, her only UK festival appearance; whilst the likes of Foals, Soulwax, and Hercules & Love Affair will be joining her on the main stage. Other highlights will include the return of DJ Danny Tengalia, as well as Sasha, Pendulum, Carl Craig, 2ManyDJs and a DJ set from the mighty Sister Bliss and Maxi Jazz, of Faithless notoriety. An Enchanted Wood, a Victorian Fun Fair, Twisted Tea Rooms, and a gigantic chill-out tepee, are just some of the surprises supplying a backdrop to the bangin’ basslines and terrific tunes.
