ABOUT ME:
Andrew Townsend.... DJ, Musician, and owner of Escovator Records, Impulse Music of America, and Streammaker Productions has done a lot to be only 19 years old... Coming from Hampton, Virginia and being IDJ.RU's Virginia Techno DJ for two straight years (2003-2004), he has already made it clear that he can dj not only techno but rock and rap as well, with a strong album at his side (Assistance Required, 2003 Escovator Records) and arguely one of the greatest techno singles coming from Hampton, Virginia (Warning, 2004 #33 World Ranked Position), and succesfully having a song in the top 100 of every major internet outlet his name has appeared on (soundclick.com, music.download.com, dmusic.com, internetdj.com and ex russian music site idj.ru) he has done himself proud in every catagory except one department sales.... Stemming from a moderate sales in Assistance Required to three cancelled albums (Nu Sessions w/DJ Studios, 1999: The Album, & Tarmac) to having his music career question with the failure of his group The LoD Project's "The LoD Project EP", and the non-release of his artist JT Skee's 2004 album "The One" under the "N.W.B Records" imprint (re-released November 2006 under the Escovator Records imprint), he sought out to re-build Escovator Records and his image from the ground up.. So after acquirng manufacting and distrubition rights for his releases, he sought after another field, making another album to bring his total from 1 to 2, with a year of shows chalked up (adding mass promotion) only time will tell if Andrew Townsend (previously known as DJ Studios, DJ Infection, and DJ Rock$tar) will truly be a musical superstar...
