SATURDAY 3 FEBRUARY 2007: Chibuku returns to Herbal for some more three roomed action that promises to have London in raptures once more. Back2Basics roll into town with Buckley leading the charge! Now a well-loved resident at Basics, Buckley plays alongside some of the greatest names in underground house. This year his plans include work on Paul Woolford's new label and further tracks on Jesse Roses' imprint Made to Play after the storming success of Bloc Party/The Jam rocked the international house charts. Buckley made his own debut at Space in Ibiza in 2004, since then he has become a fond favourite with the Balearic crowds and was resident there throughout the summer last year. Expect some dirty house and techno from this fine exponent of deck deviance. Meanwhile on the middle floor handsome disco devils Matthew and Jolyon headline…the pair are resident DJs at Bill Brewster and Frank Broughton's legendary and very hush-hush Lowlife warehouse parties. With over 15 years DJing and 15,000 records between them, they play mindless boogie, disco balls, records you've never heard of and songs you forgot you loved. They'll make you grovel on the floor, sit up and scream and beg for more... Two of the North's biggest nights combined with one of London's best underground parties - bring on the nonsense! BUCKLEY (BASICS/SPACE) MATTHEW & JOLYON (LOWLIFE) LUKE CARR DOM CHUNG EMMA WANDY MATTY J (TIRK) SARAH SWEENEY NONSENSE! UPSTAIRS CELEBRATING LUKE CARR'S BITHDAY PHAT PHIL COOPER AND MANY MORE LOONS... back2basics meets Chibuku @ Herbal 10-14 Kingsland Road, Shoreditch, London 9pm - 3am £5 before 10pm/£7 adv/£10 on door Tickets available from: www.chibuku.com/shop www.ticketweb.co.uk

SATURDAY 16 DECEMBER 2006: After the incredible success of their eighth birthday at Turnmills, Kinky Malinki has secured one of the most exciting residencies in the world as they round off 2006 with their Christmas party and a new direction for their London sessions. KM has always used its great brace of residents who are revered in the deep, vocal and peak time house circles whilst using occasional special guests to great effect. But now the guys have decided to up the ante a bit, and for the December party and 2007's sessions, more guests will be brought in for slightly more experimental sounds across the sprawling Turnmills. There’s also the final of the female DJ competition happening too. Guests include Steve Mac, DJ Prom, Martin Wright and the Audiowhores. Turnmills, 63b Clerkenwell Rd, London, EC1M 5NP DOOR TAX: £15 advance www.kinky-malinki.com
