New Years Eve is looking hot, with Turnmills flagship Saturday night party ‘Together’ offering a line-up that’ll leave pulses racing like an Olympic tri-athlete. Headlining at the esteemed London club for the first time in their career will be maestros of the Belgian groove 2 Many DJ’s. We all know The Flying Dewaele Brothers have been raising the stakes on cross-genre-mashups for some time now, getting international dancefloors pulsating to the boys inimitable mixing style throughout their global Nite Versions tour. Also performing on the night will be Scotland’s answer to the Chemical Brothers, electro-dance extraordinaire MYLO. A live DJ set from the Scottish luminary is a tantalizing proposition, especially as ‘ol Myles has been laying low since the storm cloud of admiration surrounding ‘Destroy Rock & Roll’ blew the dance music scene apart. MYLO has been working on new material and expectations are high for an airing of new tunes on his Turnmills debut. Arriving on the back of their December tour supporting the Chemical Brothers are Turnmills favourites Simian Mobile Disco. Having had a successful year supporting Klaxons, the highly-regarded remix duo will be playing an exclusive midnight set at Together. Their last appearance at Turnmills was the toast of the London circuit, and you can expect at least as good when the NYE carnival-clock welcomes the big oh-8! On top of this triple-whammy of dance-gods will be the Streetlife DJs. Giving those in attendance the opportunity to witness a taste of things to come in 2008. The guys are set to be Saturday regulars for the Together nights next year. With events taking place in the backroom expect a whole host of the together regulatè to join in shenanigans with Turnmills newest residents. All-in-all there’ll be twelve hours of madness and mayhem, including giant party games and Jelly and Ice-cream to the sound of Together Allstars vs. Hoxton. That means esteemed Together regulars including Justin Robertson, Anil Chawla, as well as the mighty Uncle Buck, Riotous Rockers, Audio Jackers and Devils Gun. Expect to look back on years gone by with childlike nostalgia as you Play Your Cards Right and munch on jelly, a tear in your eye as Big Ben strikes a chord. Laying bare the sounds of London town will be a whole host of other DJs including Turnmills own Scarlet Pimp, Mannequin Doll, 10:4 Rubber Duckie, Nikolas Esselle, Stylish Riots, Andy Peyton and Fisk. So if the Ice-cream doesn’t get you salivating, the array of acts on offer definitely will. Tasty, tasty, veeery tasty. 8pm – 8am @ Turnmills, 63b, Clerkenwell Road, London , EC1M 5NP Tickets: £40 Ticket information: www.ticketweb.co.uk

“There’s no place like home” cried Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. Revellers need not fear the lingering bite of Jack-Frost as events will be taking place in the sweltering comfort of the clubs Main Ballroom and Gallery. Yes, 9-Irons and Putters will be exchanged for glow sticks and beverages as club classics and funky house; R&B and 80’s party anthems blare from loud speakers. Another night, another partay. 'Lock your spouses in the houses', as the proverb goes, 'and pull a Christmas Cracker'. For 'Bugz in the Attic' and 'Kerri Chandler' are hitting Brixton’s Bodymusic Christmas Party on December 8th. Chandler makes his return to Bodymusic with his usual blend of house beats and garage lay-downs, which have seen him travel more miles than Phileas Fogg in his quest to stardom. Of course Chandler started messing with basslines as a wee New Jersey nine-year old, and is as experienced at his game as Ron Jeremy is to the porn-industry. Expect the usual energy driven toons from a globe-trotter with more ‘va va voom’ than a Meth addicted Greyhound. Down in the basement of Plan B, Bugz in the Attic will be playing a scorcher to warm the winter cockles of all and sundry. Hot? Damn right; last Crimbo they singed Santa's sack and crack. The broken-beats posse are comprised of a chaotic bunch of dance luminaries - shining a light brighter than an A-lister’s porcelain veneers. Album ‘Back in the Dog House’ featured all manner of uppers, downers and all arounders – from love songs and conscious tracks, to escapist tunes; some with a pinch of 80’s soul, others with a heady mix of dub and hip-hop. One can only expect total insanity from this motley crew of DJs and MCs. Plan B can stand proud, chest puffed – with its 600 capacity spread over two floors, a killer dancefloor and newly revamped Funktion One sound system. (Tis most blinding). As well as Chandler and the Attic boys, there’ll be guest and resident DJs. Christmas time, mistletoe... wine, whatever floats your boat really. 9.00pm-5.00am Plan B, 418 Brixton Road, London, SW9 7AY Tickets: £12 (door) Tickets information: info@bodymusic.org / 07989 870 117

Smirnoff Electric Cabaret: Come hear the sounds, come dance to the beat, because life is a cabaret my chum. The Smirnoff Company return to Camden’s hallowed Koko on November the 22 nd with the Smirnoff Electric Cabaret, a celebration of the most original nightlife and entertainment. The card reads like a who’s who of different musical talents that’ll literally leave you salivating. Kissy Sell Out will be showcasing his undisputed electro-wizardry on the decks whilst aerial acrobats perform overhead. LA based four-piece Ok Go are busy casting their own spells especially for the Cabaret, with a one-off event. The US Indie rockers are unlikely to disappoint having shot to fame with one of the most played videos on YouTube. You know the one, it had treadmills and stuff. Add to this the feather-boa infused, eye-liner tinged Parisian rock of Fancy, and the bill already surpasses the Cabaret offered at the Kit Kat Club. Goose, the Belgian electonica outfit will be mashing their unique array of sounds and influences including AC/DC. Revellers can smell before they buy a beverage with specially designed hand-blown nosing tubes. Bah… Who needs Liza Minelli at a Cabaret anyway? 8.30pm – 2.00am Koko, 1a Camden High Street, Camden, London Tickets: £10 Tickets available: www.koko.uk.com

Ah bejeezez! The End are celebrating their twelfth birthday on December 1 st, with a show of near-riotous proportions. To commemorate the event a collection of the finest DJs from the club’s long-running history will be showcasing their talents. Blut POW! Laurent Garnier will be spinning his yarn in the main room along with Mr C, so expect – well it’s Garnier so pretty much anything! Also in the main room will be the main man himself – a man who deserves an ego to match his growing repertoire: Erol Alkan. Fresh from their highly-claimed mix album ‘Global Underground Rio’, and most definitely no strangers to The End, Layo and Bushwacka will be pushing the masses to the limits. Creating the ultimate rave experience Superfreg recording artist Don Mac, The Coordinators, former End Recordings label manager Bill Shakes, plus Rick Kelly and The Stereobitches will also be mixing and mashing. Now, I’d get down the shops and buy them a card as any establishment started when push-pops were the in-thing and the Rednex were at number one truly deserve it!

One man beat conductor DJ Premier will be showing us why he’s one half of the ultimate NYC pairing, whilst Marley Marl, Mr Thing and The Spin Doctor himself will be firmly planting their pumps to the floor, pulling their caps down low and throwing some gang signs in the air.
