PLANETNOTION TELEVISION!
CAMERA-FOLK AND FILM EDITORS WANTED!
Planet Notion is looking for guys and dolls to film and edit features for its new TV channel, PNTV. Accompanying Notion to artist interviews, gigs, fashion shows, festivals and international events, you will be skilled, passionate and full of ideas about how to produce shit-hot video content. Camera-folk will be experienced and ideally have their own equipment, or at least access to equipment, while editors must be able to turn projects around quickly, and with stylistic flare. If you can both film and edit content, we would especially like to hear from you! These casual, unpaid positions would be ideal for those looking to develop their showreels, and to get the chance to travel, film major artists and top events.

Please email lucy(at)musichqmedia

Bless the Funk and Glamhouse present 'New Years Day 2008'
17/12/2007
So, you’re nursing a New Years Eve hangover and you’re on the mother of all comedowns. You’re trouncing around searching for the nearest kebab shop, trying desperately to recall the events that passed, your bottom lip bleeding from mindless gurning. You don’t know whether the rumble in your tummy is saying ‘no doner’ or ‘yes please.’

What better way to pick yourself back up again than to give the kebab a resounding ‘V’ and pop on down to Ruby Blue in Leicester Square, for the Bless the Funk and Glamhouse New Years Day Party.

So you don’t like house? Bah… that doesn’t matter, because there’ll be plenty of funk and R ‘n’ B. So you don’t like funk and R ‘n’ B? Bah… that doesn’t matter, because there’ll be plenty of house. Forget musical chairs my dance luminaries; at this party everyone’s a winner.

The mighty Clemy Riley is top of the agenda, the one-man-band of the DJ set. From funky, chunky basslines to soulful ballads, Riley’s mixed and mashed it all. He currently has his fingers in the pie of production, little surprise when you consider a career spanning almost ten years. Together with LikeMindedPeople, Riley will be bringing the masses to Soul Heaven and beyond.

They were both members of the Fanatix, delivering house to the masses like a bullet from a gun, and both Sy-Sez and the mighty Neil Pierce are also pumping up for Glamhouse at Ruby Blue. They’ll be joined by the Greek god himself Marky D, delivering everything from prog-house to tech-house, deep-house to bringing down the house!

Furthermore, stepping forth for Bless the Funk will be an array of resident DJs. Sammy (Confunktion), D Boogie and Shandaman will be joined by none other than DJ Knowledge - bringing more mash-ups than an East End pie shop. From humble beginnings, DJ Knowledge and Sammy (Confunktion) have brought forward everything from afro-beat, breakbeat and house. On top of this fine array of luminaries, DJ Vibes and DJ Chilli Source will also be supplying beats to all and sundry. So say hello to the second of January with your second hangover of the year.
