PLANETNOTION TELEVISION!
CAMERA-FOLK AND FILM EDITORS WANTED!
Planet Notion is looking for guys and dolls to film and edit features for its new TV channel, PNTV. Accompanying Notion to artist interviews, gigs, fashion shows, festivals and international events, you will be skilled, passionate and full of ideas about how to produce shit-hot video content. Camera-folk will be experienced and ideally have their own equipment, or at least access to equipment, while editors must be able to turn projects around quickly, and with stylistic flare. If you can both film and edit content, we would especially like to hear from you! These casual, unpaid positions would be ideal for those looking to develop their showreels, and to get the chance to travel, film major artists and top events.

FRIDAY 8 JULY: Bass culture lovers the Crucial Business crew will be conducting a mash-up to shake up the west country when they welcome the almighty Soul Jazz Soundsystem to The Tube. Massive Attack hero Daddy G, Reggae’s first sister Queen Bee and genre-blender Mr Benn make up the Crucial Business family, and with the vibe they each bring to the (turn)table this night is sure to be a cracker. Fela Kuti, The Clash, Eek-A-Mouse and KRS -One are just some of the diverse tunesmiths that might get touted, so arrive with your mind open and your dancing shoes polished. JSTAR will be on board to get the reggae vibes rolling; expect names of this pedigree to be hooking up with Crucial Business when the night next returns. Booked in for a tri-monthly residency is the Soul Jazz Soundsystem, rocking the Bristolian bassbins with a heady mix of reggae, ska, hip hop, funk, soul, disco and raga jungle. Selecta!
