PLANETNOTION TELEVISION!
CAMERA-FOLK AND FILM EDITORS WANTED!
Planet Notion is looking for guys and dolls to film and edit features for its new TV channel, PNTV. Accompanying Notion to artist interviews, gigs, fashion shows, festivals and international events, you will be skilled, passionate and full of ideas about how to produce shit-hot video content. Camera-folk will be experienced and ideally have their own equipment, or at least access to equipment, while editors must be able to turn projects around quickly, and with stylistic flare. If you can both film and edit content, we would especially like to hear from you! These casual, unpaid positions would be ideal for those looking to develop their showreels, and to get the chance to travel, film major artists and top events.

Please email lucy(at)musichqmedia

FunkinYou: Dirty Pumping House at KOKO
15/01/2008
FunkinYou continue their KOKO residency on February 2nd, with a flurry of pumping house from special guest DJs and underground scene-setters. Playing the first Saturday of every month, FunkinYou’s relationship with the Camden hub has blossomed; with house-head’s flocking to the venue in droves and busting-their-shiznit to the throbbing, funky electro beats on offer.

As per-usual the FunkinYou crew is pulling out all the stops, with an exclusive set by regular DJ/Producer Thomas Gold. Having travelled here, there and up-your-stair with the FunkinYou fraternity in 2007, Gold is one of the primary reasons the club-night has become the house connoisseurs choice for filthy, funky electro basslines and pumping tunes.

Joining Gold will be a host of top-notch talent from the underground scene, including resident DJ Mr. Arkoss. Not one to beat about the bush, Arkoss delivers everything from deep, soulful house through to rougher-cut, pounding electro tech. Just as long as it’s getting hardcore on the dancefloor, the man’s a happy bunny. Joining both Arkoss and Gold will be Philgood and Ram, and Mario C with their own blend of underground house and deep, dirty basslines.

DJs Dennis Veli, Blake Baker, Paul Malcolm: Lenny G and Jim Lansdown, will all be spinning their yarn in the second room, with FunkinYou’s usual foray into house-scene superstardom. And while the beautiful boys and girls are getting familiar on the floor; acts including contortionists, live percussion and trapeze will be creating the ultimate carnival atmosphere through to the early hours of Sunday morn.

Trust us; believe us; take our word when we say; February is gonna be a month to remember… even if house ain’t your scene.
