Planet Notion is looking for guys and dolls to film and edit features for its new TV channel, PNTV. Accompanying Notion to artist interviews, gigs, fashion shows, festivals and international events, you will be skilled, passionate and full of ideas about how to produce shit-hot video content. Camera-folk will be experienced and ideally have their own equipment, or at least access to equipment, while editors must be able to turn projects around quickly, and with stylistic flare. If you can both film and edit content, we would especially like to hear from you! These casual, unpaid positions would be ideal for those looking to develop their showreels, and to get the chance to travel, film major artists and top events.
Please email lucy(at)musichqmedia (dot)com if you’re interested in getting involved, cheers! |

ILUVLIVE is making its way to Cargo, right on the doorstep of Notion Towers, in super-funky Shoreditch. If you haven’t been, it’s great, and that’s just ILUVLIVE. Oh, yeah, brace yourself, because these pioneers of fresh urban talent don’t beat about the bush. Or do things by half. Or… Whatever!
Having gone down a storm last year in places as far and wide as Manchester, Bristol and Birmingham, ILUVLIVE have already had some amazing shows in ’08. Like we say, they don’t beat about the bush. The Cargo event will be hosted by 1Xtra’s Ras Kwame and Twin B, delivering the best, and we mean best, in hotly tipped talent.
Confirmed acts include Island Record’s up-and-coming ‘inyourfacelikeaknuckleduster’ talent Taio Cruz, and Bashy, whose ‘Black Boys’ remix is ruddy great and whose ‘Chupa Chups’ mixtape is much-loved in hip-hop circles. Yeah, and he’s touring with Lethal Bizzle later in the year, so you just know he’s a bit special.
Also performing will be beatbox supremo Faith SFX (accompanied by artists from Alwayz Recordings), Manchester resident and Irish luthario Skittles, Bristol’s Cassette Baby, Claire Angel, and jazzy roots musician Mellow Baku. Keep your eyes on Mellow, trust us, she’s one to watch…
Oh, and in true ILUVLIVE spirit an exclusive guest will be headlining. And it’s at Cargo. And it should be good. And so, you should probably go…
ILUVLIVE at Cargo
