PLANETNOTION TELEVISION!
CAMERA-FOLK AND FILM EDITORS WANTED!
Planet Notion is looking for guys and dolls to film and edit features for its new TV channel, PNTV. Accompanying Notion to artist interviews, gigs, fashion shows, festivals and international events, you will be skilled, passionate and full of ideas about how to produce shit-hot video content. Camera-folk will be experienced and ideally have their own equipment, or at least access to equipment, while editors must be able to turn projects around quickly, and with stylistic flare. If you can both film and edit content, we would especially like to hear from you! These casual, unpaid positions would be ideal for those looking to develop their showreels, and to get the chance to travel, film major artists and top events.

Please email lucy(at)musichqmedia

Part of the city's International Festival this summer, Central will burst into an audiovisual wonderland to showcase some shit hot VJ and DJ talent. 10,000 revellers can enjoy a series of sets themed around Manchester's cultural and musical history, but at the same time fixed on its digitised future. Multi-media mosaics will send out the city's messages to starry-eyed ravers watching it all on a mother-sized screen over a whopping 40m wide. Good morning! Here's Friday's crowd pleasers: 2Many DJs, Bushwacka, DJ Shadow & Cut Chemist, Erol Alkan & Richard Norris, Gilles Peterson and Unabombers. How do'ya like them apples! And Saturday's wonders will be wrought by Carl Cox, David Morales, Erol (can't get enough!), Fatboy Slim, Frankie Knuckles, Laurent Garnier, Layo and Sasha, Phewf! Visual and creative direction will be by Todd Craft of Microchunk glory, The End's Layo Paskin directs the music and David Levy will be heading up production duties. Basically, you're in good hands.
