PLANETNOTION TELEVISION!
CAMERA-FOLK AND FILM EDITORS WANTED!
Planet Notion is looking for guys and dolls to film and edit features for its new TV channel, PNTV. Accompanying Notion to artist interviews, gigs, fashion shows, festivals and international events, you will be skilled, passionate and full of ideas about how to produce shit-hot video content. Camera-folk will be experienced and ideally have their own equipment, or at least access to equipment, while editors must be able to turn projects around quickly, and with stylistic flare. If you can both film and edit content, we would especially like to hear from you! These casual, unpaid positions would be ideal for those looking to develop their showreels, and to get the chance to travel, film major artists and top events.

FRIDAY 6/SATURDAY 7 JULY: 2 Many DJs, Gilles Peterson, Layo & Bushwacka and Sasha are just some of the big names lined up to mark a groundbreaking event in Manchester this summer.

Taking place on July 6/7, 'Industrial Resolution' will see the worlds leading DJs and VJs come together to celebrate a visual arts installation and pay tribute to the city’s rich clubland heritage.

Manchester International Festival gave the system the go-ahead to allow creative artists from Microchunk and London's The End club to perform on equipment that sports a higher than ever resolution and uses unprecedented technology to project moving images at eight times the resolution of High Definition onto a 40m wide screen.

Festival Director Alex Poots said: "Industrial Resolutionwas conceived to pay homage to Manchester’s cultural and musical history, but also to look to the future to see how we can embrace the digital world… This will be the ultimate club night for the original party city."

DJ Shadow and Cut Chemist are set to work together, as well as Erol Alkan and Richard Norris.

It all happens at the 10,000 capacity Manchester Central (formerly the G-MEX Centre). Tickets are on sale now.
