Ahhh, it’s been a while revelers, almost a month - maybe two, since we last brought a Mulletover event to your attention. Now that’s about to change, as the kings (and queens) of the rave rev up for their annual Halloween bonanza. Hence the massive shot of jissom, seeping through my blue denims and onto my plush (broken) office chair… That’s the Big E for you folks - or “EXCITEMENT” for those unaware of my strange psychotic use of lettering...
Headlining the event at a ‘top secret’ location, will be none other than REBOOT. Awooga! For those who haven’t heard of REBOOT, he’s the alias of Frankfurt luminary, Frank Heinrich. Frank started out on Frankfurt’s Below label, before being picked up by Cadenza Records and remixing for the likes of Matthias Tanzmann and Guy Gerber. As REBOOT, Frank’s beats and grooves take a skinny-dip in the deep-end, delving into the dark, the trippy and the high on BASS!
Meat will also be spinning his merry yarn. The DJ returns to Mulletover following a string of releases on Fabric’s label. Like REBOOT, Meat is one of the most respected DJs to emerge from the Frankfurt scene... Northern electro pioneer, Tom Craven, will be taking a breather from his Back2Front Manchester parties to make the trip; whilst Mulletover co-founder and beloved resident, DJ Geddes, will be delivering the sound the Mulletover faithful have come to know and love.
O and lest we forget, the second room will be taken over by Horsemeat Disco. Residents Jim Stanton, Severino and James Hilard, will be taking the masses on a journey through good ol’ fashioned disco of yore. You know? When people had mullets and wore purple Lycra and the women had poodle-perm hair and danced like they were doing an aerobics class and stuff.
PLUS: There’s going to be a super-duper special guest! Bring on the Halloween fiesta!
