PLANETNOTION TELEVISION!
CAMERA-FOLK AND FILM EDITORS WANTED!
Planet Notion is looking for guys and dolls to film and edit features for its new TV channel, PNTV. Accompanying Notion to artist interviews, gigs, fashion shows, festivals and international events, you will be skilled, passionate and full of ideas about how to produce shit-hot video content. Camera-folk will be experienced and ideally have their own equipment, or at least access to equipment, while editors must be able to turn projects around quickly, and with stylistic flare. If you can both film and edit content, we would especially like to hear from you! These casual, unpaid positions would be ideal for those looking to develop their showreels, and to get the chance to travel, film major artists and top events.

Please email lucy@musichqmedia.com if you’re interested in getting involved, cheers!

This Future Clubs has Planet Notion jumping around like a family of frogs with a jackpot win on a one-pound lucky dip. Taking place just over two weeks away on Saturday 31st May the legendary Paul Van Dyk will be descending on the formidable ‘Victoria Works Warehouse’ in Leeds.

As the old Chinese Proverb goes: “Talk does not cook rice.” Indeed. It’s mastering ones art through hard work and determination, and with it comes success; something Paul has fast become accustomed to. Hailing from Berlin, Paul van Dyk’s trance and techno remixes have seen him topping ‘top DJ’ lists the world over, gaining him recognition as one of the finest DJs and producers worldwide.

From remixing Justin Tirousersnake to Depeche Mode, and more recently The Wombats’ ‘Moving to New York,’ Paul van Dyk has sold over three million albums worldwide. Add to this extensive global touring each and every year, a string of high-profile awards - including the prestigious Best Producer and Best Global DJ, and you go some way to understanding what all the fuss is about.

On top of residencies at Cream Ibiza and on the Berlin club scene, Paul van Dyk has several radio shows on the go as well. In a nut-shell, he’s a very busy man. Joining Paul in the main arena will be close pal Giuseppe Ottaviani, and house DJ Steve Porter will be making a return to Leeds.

Hosting Arena 2 will be club night Elektric Playground, having garnered quite a reputation for their monthly residency at Club Mission. Galaxy FM’s Riley and Durrant will be joined by Adam Sheridan (Van Dyk is a massive fan) and upcoming producers Hauswerks. Not bad, eh?

It’s basically a massive party featuring Paul van Dyk’s mates and a load of people he thinks are like, totally friggin’ ace; Oh, and did we mention that it’s taking place in one of the finest venues in Leeds. SWEET!
