| CREATIVE SOURCE vs SWERVE - THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE WINNER! The End, April 11th |
| 26/03/2008 |
![]() The End is offering a night of revelry for drum n’ bass fiends on April 11th as living legend Fabio takes on the ‘original night of liquid funk’ Swerve.
Fabio is renowned for his bangin’ all-night sets, having pioneered the scene in the 90s with epic sets at Rage and Speed. Hmm… Rage and Speed; wouldn’t like to meet someone with those two traits in a dark alley. Anyway, the godfather of drum n bass will be teaming up with a whole host of artists from his Creative Source label as well as pounding ears with a four hour, YES four hour set!
This is truly a rare thing in the d n’ b world and should give Fabs the chance to show us his true worth. He’ll be joined by the beautiful sounds of Calibre, who, after releasing his debut album on Creative Source in 2001, has gone on to rule the liquid d n’ b roost with a little help from the mighty Marcus Intalex.
New talent Lynx will also be demonstrating why he’s undoubtedly become one to watch in 2008 after the release of his tempo-destroying anthem ‘Disco Dodo’ last year. Having plied their trade for the past fifteen years, masters of the ‘rave anthem’ Total Science will be making up the numbers in the main room, whilst Fats and Rage will be taking to the mic for some sweet rhyming skills.
Over in the lounge a succulent selection of Swerve’s superb spin-doctors will be shaking booty and spinning a steamy soundscape of sound, plus all the Swerve residents under one roof as Bailey, Flight, Chris Intaface, Tendai, Aaron Jay and original beatsmith DJ Addiction take to the decks.
Truly an event to get all real heads moist, expect something other than your usual “YOU SAY RAVER, I SAY BO!” action. Basically, smooth as fuck.
