Last ever Hospitality at Herbal
17/12/2007
So long, farewell, auf Wiedersehen, goodbye, I leave and heave a sigh and say goodbye. Yes indeed, Hospitality will this month pack their bags and wave farewell to a six year residency at Herbal.

Alas, this is not a time for crocodile tears, no; it’s an occasion to look back and cry ‘hoorah’ for those good times that were had, whilst giving Hospitality the send-off they heartedly deserve. Whilst their massive sweat-fests at Heaven will remain, the Hospitality crew are moving on to bigger and better things – so what better way to welcome in the Christmas joy and go out with a bang than a fuck off big bass bash – nice!

Hospitality regulars and the party-hard alike will be treated to one-hell of a night on December 21st, with a whole host of resident DJs from past and present proving beyond reason why the monthly drum and bass night is so widely regarded.

As well as the Hospitality faithful, Critical music head honcho Kasra will be spinning some fresh drum and bass goodness, plus an ultra rare back-to-back set from Hospital’s own London Elektricity and Tomahawk.

Label owner and one of the original heads from the Hospital Records nights of yonder, these two have set the scene for many on the D&B circuit, with jaunts at Glastonbury and the Big Chill proving beyond reason why they’re at the very top of their game. The boys will be seeing the night out and saying farewell to Herbal with their blistering two-hour back to back session. Sweeet!

Meanwhile, somewhere upstairs, Hospital Records chief and funk, soul, badness maestro Chris Goss will be accompanied by Zac Vibert, with the brilliant Riley spinning his yarn for the final freestyle send-off.

However, dry those eyes and shed that sad face, as whilst Hospitality at Herbal is going out on a high, they’ll be coming back with a bang in ’08, so keep ‘em peeled!
