PLANETNOTION TELEVISION!
CAMERA-FOLK AND FILM EDITORS WANTED!
Planet Notion is looking for guys and dolls to film and edit features for its new TV channel, PNTV. Accompanying Notion to artist interviews, gigs, fashion shows, festivals and international events, you will be skilled, passionate and full of ideas about how to produce shit-hot video content. Camera-folk will be experienced and ideally have their own equipment, or at least access to equipment, while editors must be able to turn projects around quickly, and with stylistic flare. If you can both film and edit content, we would especially like to hear from you! These casual, unpaid positions would be ideal for those looking to develop their showreels, and to get the chance to travel, film major artists and top events.

Please email lucy(at)musichqmedia

Thugs and Hugs Krispy Kristmas Special
Thugs and Hugs Krispy Kristmas Special
10/12/2007
Thugs and Hugs Krispy Kristmas Special is hitting the former home of Hackney’s ‘ol printing presses: Passing Clouds. With a line-up as salivating as Titmuss in suspenders - or Ramsey in an apron, depending on your outlook - this promises to be a top return to form for the party luminaries.

Underground hip-hop duo Brother Reade will be spicing up events, hitting the capital for the first time, in line with their new album ‘Rap Music.’ Passing Clouds is an ideal venue for a pair that have carved a name for themselves in the Echo Park DIY art and music community. With lyrics delivered like a Mayweather killer blow on an old school backdrop as fresh today as in its hey-day, amongst their many attributes, Brother Reade can brag of having supported underground heroes Wu-Tang Clan.

Brother Reade’s Bobby Evans is also going to spin his yarn alongside comrade in arms Desert Eagles. Evans and Eagles are riding the cusp of admiration for their remixes which range from Prince to Dizzee Rascal; having passed through the valley of Daft Punk and dancehall extraordinaire Elephant Man. A double whammy of American royalty.

Glasgow’s very own DJ extraordinaire DJ Jackmaster has been setting the Scottish city’s infamous Numbers parties alight with his bumpy beats. With sets alongside such luminaries as Modeselektor, the Glaswegian will be accompanied by fellow Dress to $weat Parisian counterparts Kazey & Bulldog. Grrr… Woof!

Joining the mêlée of LA rappers, Scottish and French DJs will be London clan the Zombie Disco Squad with there baile-funk and electro mega-sets. The line-up is completed by such names as the Patchwork Pirates and DJ Gigolo the Mix Knight. And if that wasn’t sick enough, visuals will come courtesy of the legendary Karborn. If you haven’t seen this mans work then either (a) check it out, or (b) get your arse down to Passing Clouds on the 14th.

Winter just got steamy.
