TOUR STARTS FEBRUARY 2: Considering that early 2006 saw Corinne Bailey Rae tipped as the woman for the top (great live show, anodyne album), we should perhaps be thankful that the devil has reclaimed what is his own, putting some sex and sass back into our lives via the whiskey soaked incantations of Amy Winehouse.
Having received innumerable plaudits for Back To Black’s rump shaking, charcoal filtered soul, Winehouse should see her position as Britain’s premier female artist cemented with this tour. Throw support from Mr Hudson and The Library into the mix and this promises to be the gig of the month in a town near you. It should all prove to be an intoxicating cocktail that we encourage you to binge on without shame.
