 TOUR STARTS FEBRUARY 1: There seems to be a surfeit of blood based bands touring this month. What should we derive from this? That music is getting more murderous? That bands are prepared to spill claret in order to have their rider demands met? Lord only knows. Either way, Blood Red Shoes are a boy/girl drums and guitar duo that deliver a sharp punch to the ribs of complacent bands and fans everywhere.
To see so much energy generated by two such slight characters is pretty impressive, so God only knows what will happen when they hit the road with fellow Brightonians The Maccabees, who seem to act like an unhealthy dose of E numbers upon their excitable young fans.
