TOUR STARTS MARCH 29: As the guiding light at the heart of Super Furry Animals, Gruff Rhys has been soothing troubled souls and keeping things decidedly spaced out for many years now. However, his solo album 'Candylion' has seen the man with the entrancing feather-gentle voice produce something of a tour de force, even by his standards. Compared to the often raucous S.F.A output, Rhys has put out a record that has all the hallmarks of a balmy seventies summer, but with nods to spiffy daisy-age hip-hop and more besides.
