Planet Notion - Transient with Kollman and Sondorom, The Horse and Groom, 5th May

Transient are returning to Shoreditch boozer The Horse and Groom for another all out riot. Well, we are talking about the May bank-holiday after all.

This one has the makings of the best Transient to date with two stellar names taking residence for an all out rave-up. Yep, that crazy Transient crew are going out with a SHA-BANG to rival the A-Bomb as they bid a - nay-temporary - farewell to The Horse and Groom. One half of Mobilee Records ‘Ralf Kollman’ is going to be taking to the decks for only his second performance in London this year.

Kollman is best known for residencies on the ever-popular Berlin scene - playing the city’s Weekend nightclub where he can regularly be heard delving into a mixed bag of techno. Zee Germans love their techno and if there’s one German DJ that has “vays of making you dance” it’s Kollman.

Joining Kollman will be Freack n’Chic’s Dyed Soundorom. Dyed’s a guy who’ll fit well in Shoreditch, what with all the artists and fashionistas and journalists and musicians that call it home. Over the last few years Dyed’s built up quite a rep with the similar cats of 'Gay Paris' where he can usually be found playing house and techno in the trendiest clubs and to the funkiest crowds.

If you’ve ever imagined yourself wearing a silver cat suit, breathing like a goldfish and swimming in a disco ball, you’re halfway to picturing Dyed’s sound. It’s predominantly slow and minimal with a subtle groove. God, that sounds like a wine expert talking.

Does that sound freaky? Does that float your boat? Do you want to don your phosfluorescent shell-suit and “ave’ it large?” Thought so… Which is why you should pop on down to The Horse and Groom for Transient’s last party until Summer. Twill be one to remember.
