PLANETNOTION TELEVISION!
CAMERA-FOLK AND FILM EDITORS WANTED!
Planet Notion is looking for guys and dolls to film and edit features for its new TV channel, PNTV. Accompanying Notion to artist interviews, gigs, fashion shows, festivals and international events, you will be skilled, passionate and full of ideas about how to produce shit-hot video content. Camera-folk will be experienced and ideally have their own equipment, or at least access to equipment, while editors must be able to turn projects around quickly, and with stylistic flare. If you can both film and edit content, we would especially like to hear from you! These casual, unpaid positions would be ideal for those looking to develop their showreels, and to get the chance to travel, film major artists and top events.

Please email lucy(at)musichqmedia

The Aliens
15/03/2007
TOUR STARTS MARCH 15: Over the past twelve months there has been the emergence of a new type of futuristic psychedelia that is as much indebted to the sample savvy electronica community as it is to the acid-munching hippies of the 60s. Foremost amongst this new wave of astral travellers are LA expat Pop Levi and Edinburgh's resident head-twisters, The Aliens. The band have built a reputation over the past year as a formidable live act, brimming over with soaring pop melodies as well as an appetite for experimentation that ensures an evening of breathtaking boundary breaking. We should perhaps expect little else from a band that emerged from the remnants of The Beta Band, but with the release of debut ‘Astronomy For Dogs’ on March 19th, The Aliens are destined to abduct the minds of a whole new range of listeners.

MARCH
15th - The Social, Nottingham
17th - Night & Day, Manchester
18th - Fleece, Bristol
19th - ULU, London
20th - Faversham, Leeds
