God damn the sun!
But sitting here at our desk, sweating like a self-conscious virgin in an Amsterdam whore-house, just doesn’t cut the mustard.
It’s horrible. Not least because we’ll have to endure two London buses and a London train home; which inevitably means burger wrappers and chicken bones on chairs, stinking and rotting the place out.
Not to mention the sweaty commuters, each prone to fits of outrage at the merest brush of contact. Each one more insane than the last. Buy beer; open beer; endure. It really is the only way.
The label, featuring bands and artists that form the Wilkkommen Collective, will present a mini-festival with two stages at Stanmer House, Brighton, on July 5th.
The festival, which was previously held at Charleston House, situated between Brighton and Eastbourne, will move into Stanmer House with the intention of more acts and bigger performances.
The Grade I listed building, erected in 1722, is situated in the middle of a stunning Sussex nature reserve and is just a 5-10 minute walk from Falmer train station, which is easily accessible from major train stations including London Victoria.
