Television	The best TV program in the world is undoubtably Black Books, followed closely by Peep Show and Scrubs

Books	Anything by Terry Pratchet, Birdsong, The Handmaids Tale, His Dark Materials trilogy, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Fight Club, The Virgin Suicides, Watership Down (rabbits are awesome).
