02/07/2009 We had an accident the other day. Nothing major, although it did cause us momentary distress.
We opened our bag to prepare for work and it was all green and mouldy and it had that smell of stale apples you get when you spill cheap cider and forget about it.
We sat down and did a Colombo and came to the conclusion that we must have hit the pub and then purchased a few cans for the bus journey home.
Must have exploded or something.
Anyways, it really was quite bad. Our Doolittle and Different Class albums were ruined and our iPod has been making a strange whirring sound ever since. What a bitch.
These unnecessary stresses can escalate into huge head-aches. We had to carry our possessions in our pockets yesterday, which meant pulling our phone and change out every time we needed to get to our tobacco.
Sometimes it’s good to get away for a while; forget about the spilt cider and the memory loss.
Which is why we’re pleased to bring you the latest news about the Wickerman Festival, taking place just north of the border in Scotland from Friday 24th – Saturday 25th July.
Hell, you can’t get further away in Britain than Scotland. Well, depending on your geographical location, obviously.
One of Carlisle’s best kept clubbing secrets, Skiddle, will present the Skiddle Skirmish Showcase in association with promoters Uber and Trashed.
