| Kings of Leon announce 2009 UK arena dates! |
| 11/11/2008 |
![]() Any idea what’s going on this Friday? Planet Notion’s no Mystic Meg, but we’ve got a feeling there’s going to be looting, the odd murder and jammed phone-lines the country over.
Okay, we’re going a bit too far; the phone-lines might be jammed, but there’s absolutely no danger of your Cornershop being robbed by crazed rock-fans in need of a sugar-fix, or being whacked around the head with a spanner. Well, probably.
We refer to the announcement that Kings of Leon will play two dates in England next year, with tickets going on sale this Friday, November 14th. The two shows will take place on Monday June 15th, at London’s O2 Arena, and Monday June 22nd, at Manchester Evening News Arena.
The band, who release new single ‘Use Somebody’ on December 8th and saw their new album and first single from their new album go straight to number one last month, are returning to the UK for a tour next month.
The tour will see them play 12 venues in 22 days. Mathematically speaking, that’s a venue every 1.83 days, so it’s a pretty hectic schedule. Unfortunately, that tour sold out mega-quickly, but if you fancy getting your hands on tickets for next year’s shows, here’s all the information you need to know:
Monday 15th June 2009, The O2 Arena, London. 0844 856 0202
Monday 22nd June 2009, Manchester Evening News Arena. 0844 847 8000 Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday 14th November.
All tickets £32.50 + booking fees.
