Granted, whilst sat around the table pissed at Christmas, Planet Notion has muttered the old cliché: “God, hasn’t the year gone fast?”
But it doesn’t go fast at all. It feels like we’ve been stuck in this office for the last 50 years and we’re not even 50. We’re 20-f*cking-4!
We’re getting cabin fever in this hole, staring at our god forsaken screen. Feels like the walls and the ceiling are closing in… eyes are going blurry… mind is becoming fried…

The renowned rum brand is offering one lucky music enthusiast the opportunity to become ‘The Sailor Jerry Mix Legend’ take to the decks at the alternative music and dance festival’s Sailor Jerry Rum Bar.
The Sailor Jerry area will keep to the famous rum brand’s roots, with Reggae Roast, DJ Derek and DJ Don Letts, among those set to play there.
Those wishing to take to the decks at the Sailor Jerry bar are asked to submit their dream playlists on Last.fm, the leading social recommendation site.
The lucky winner will be given the chance to join big names, on stage at the Sailor Jerry bar, for a once in a lifetime (possibly) festival experience.
Alongside the music, visitors to the Sailor Jerry area will be able to sample classic, tasty Sailor Jerry rum serves, including Jerry & ginger and Jerry & cola.
There will also be a number of specially designed Sailor Jerry cocktails available throughout the weekend to tantalize the taste buds of thirsty music fans.
This year’s Big Chill festival will be attracting cutting edge acts from across the boards of music, art and film.
Acts as diverse as Basement Jaxx, Friendly Fires, Orbital, Amadou and Mariam, Norman Jay and British Sea Power are set to grace its stages, whilst comedy will come from the likes of Dylan Moran and Noel Fielding.

Ingredients:
30mls Sailor Jerry Rum
20mls Golden rum
10mls Pedro Ximinez Sherry
10mls Mandarine Napoleon
15mls lemon juice
15mls lime juice.
Method:
Mix all ingredients in a shaker, add ice, shake and strain. Sugar rim of the glass and add orange horse's neck garnish. Served in a flute. |
