It's been a busy summer for Oxfam, travelling across the UK, taking in all the festivals along the way. Oxfam's stewards staffed dozens of the summer festivals, from the big names like Glastonbury right down to smaller events like Wychwood and Cornbury, and its campaigners raised awareness of globally important issues. At Glastonbury alone, Oxfam's campaigners signed up more than 33,000 to the Make Poverty History campaign. At extreme sports festival NASS, Oxfam hosted a café and cinema tent crammed with festival-goers into the early hours, while at the Carling Weekend, more than 35,000 people signed Oxfam’s Big Noise petition to make trade fair. The stars of the festivals came out in support of the charity's campaigning work, with Kasabian and Ian Brown speaking out in support of Make Trade Fair, and Joss Stone even donning a pair of Make Poverty History pants.
