After months of work on an extensive refurbishment, the Honeyclub officially reopened its doors on Saturday 18th March. The launch of the new look Honeyclub and Honeybar was celebrated with a decadent Ice and Fire-themed extravaganza. The exclusive VIP reception included guests such as the Cheeky Girls, actress June Brown (Eastenders' Dot Cotton), Brian Capron (aka Coronation street serial killer Richard Hillman) and Brighton and Hove Albion players to name a few.

The sell-out night featured a beachfront fire show, fire maidens, champagne, canapés and ice luges aplenty. The launch kicked off with Norman Jay MBE headlining the main room and Oliver Lang (London's Dusted) playing funky house in room 2. The party atmosphere was in high demand as queuing clubbers stretched down the seafront until 3 am.
